Thank you for your interest in joining Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) at this exciting new era for our organisation and the city region we serve.

In Autumn 2023, a Local Government Association Corporate Peer Challenge found us to be undisputed pioneers of English devolution, with a strong track record of success built on decades of collaboration.

We are now driving this further forward as one of two national devolution trailblazers, with greater freedom, flexibility, and influence over crucial policy areas. Our forthcoming refresh of the Greater Manchester Strategy and an accompanying long-term delivery plan will set out how we plan to turbocharge growth and create tens of thousands of new homes and jobs over the next decade.

We will achieve this by continuing close partnerships across our ten Greater Manchester councils, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, local services, businesses, communities and our almost 2.9 million residents, as well as central Government. Together we will make Greater Manchester a better place for all, while also contributing more than our fair share towards national missions.
